This December 6–10, the world’s art and design aficionados descended upon southern Florida for the 13th edition of Design Miami, the marketplace for collectible furniture, lighting and objets d’art from 32 international galleries. And among the installations and brand presentations, we spotted a few corners that we truly wished our homes could look like.
Our top pick would be Welcome! by Chiara Andreatti, presented by Fendi. Coinciding with the Maison’s 10th anniversary of participating in Design Miami, the collection represents “an open environment on good living” decorated in pleasant colours and organic materials, with hints of Fendi’s signatures in every item — Pequin stripes cover the 4m-long sofa, the pattern of the 1970s Astuccio fur coat are recreated with bamboo for the large coffee table, the house’s Selleria stitch embellish a generous rug. It’s a tribute to the brand packed into one cohesive booth.
