A Dylan Update.

It's been a while since I did a post about Dylan, so I thought I'd treat you all to one. Also I've managed to get some pretty cute photos of him lately, which naturally means I need to show you all. He's just so insanely photogenic it's not even funny. We've been quite busy over the summer and he's been thoroughly spoilt with long walks, trips up to London, picnics, and swimming in the ocean. We even made daisy-chains one afternoon (well, I did, his paws are a bit too clumsy, but he modelled the finished result).

I still have yet to take him all the way into London, he got as far as Parson's Green, but I will take him up one Sunday in the car soon, and we'll run around Hyde Park chasing all the ducks and geese, before heading to one of the dog friendly cafes or restaurants in central. It's also been a good year for Dylan health-wise (*touch wood*), usually he gets something wrong with him, whether it's a sprained ankle from running too wildly, or seeds stuck in his paw and giving him a rather sore infection. We have our pet insurance with Argos Pet Insurance, and I can't tell you what a relief it is to know that everything is covered whenever he gets poorly.

So anyway, without further ado, here are some of my favourite photos of him from the past few months!

Now, I know he looks a bit like a girl in this photo, but doesn't he look pretty!? I love his soft gingery blonde hair on the top of his head. It's so fluffy and strokeable.

^Dylan in the car on our way down to the coast. He's so nosy. He pokes his head round to check up on you and make sure you're still there.

When we got to the beach he headed straight for the water and got dumped by a massive wave. Silly thing!

^Those eyes. Proper puppy dog eyes! Also yes, he has a leopard print bed. It's his travel one. We went into the pet shop and he went straight over to it and made himself comfy, so obviously we had to get it for him.

Dylan loves a picnic. A few weeks after our big group one in Parsons Green, we went for one up at Newlands Corner with my old work friends. He was thoroughly spoiled and made himself comfortable in the middle of the picnic rug, pushing Shev off onto the grass ^

I love the photo below so much, he looks like such a derp.

Then there was the day I walked into the living room to see Dylan sprawled on his back having a nap. WTF! His bed is right by the sofa, why didn't he just sleep in that?! I walked up to him and he looked at me with this sleepy face...

Dylan's also the perfect selfie companion - he's quite the expert!
