German watch brand A Lange & Söhne is a master of complex calibers. The new 1815 Annual Calendar watch features a manually-wound movement. A button at 2 o’clock collectively advances all indications, while three recessed push pieces allow separate corrections of the day, month and moonphase. For the first time in an A Lange calendar model, the date can also be separately advanced with an additional recessed push piece. A sapphire-crystal caseback allows for viewing of the 345-part movement, with complete ratchet and crown wheels visibly integrated into the German-silver three-quarter plate. The watch is crafted in 18K white gold and features a solid silver dial.
