What does fashion mean to Jasmin Bhasin?
For me, fashion is something that makes me feel comfortable. I feel comfortable carrying it, wearing it and at the same time it makes me feel sassy.
What is your style mantra for
Party: A pair of comfortable shoes and clothes in which I can look classy, as well as I, can dance effortlessly.
Puja: A simple salwar kameez or a saree with minimal ethnic jewellery
Wedding: I love wearing lehenga choli during wedding celebrations
Holiday: I prefer t-shirts, shorts, one-piece dresses
Who is the most stylish male as well as female actor according to you and why?
I think Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are always on point. I guess they know who they are and what reflects their individuality.
What are your three must-have fashion accessories?
For me, it’s important to have a nice pair of shades, a chic dress, and a cool pair of sneakers.
How much do you love to experiment with your looks?
I don’t love to experiment at all with my looks. I’m really afraid of experimenting because I’m not sure if I can carry them properly.
What do you love wearing the most?
I am more of a one-piece dress lover, who also loves causal outfits, shorts, t-shirts, hoodies and joggers.
What kind of hairstyle do you like the most?
I usually like to keep my hair open. If going for an occasion I either prefer out curls or have straight open hair.
What are the favourite brands of Jasmine Bhasin?
I like Gucci because they make really cool hoodies and dresses. I love Forever New and Zara too.
What is your style fetish?
For me, it is all about nail art, because you’ll always see some or the other things on my nails and they are never dull or blank.
Recently Priyanka Chopra wore a high cleavage kimono gown which she was trolled for, what is your take on it? Will you ever sport such an outfit?
I think it’s her choice and her body to wear whatever she wants to wear and go wherever. I don’t think we should be trolling anybody. And I don’t know, if I will ever sport such an outfit, it totally depends on my mood and the situation and where I am.
What are fashion dos and don’ts you follow, Jasmin Bhasin?
Don’t just go blindly with the trends. See if it really suits you. And then only go for it and it’s not necessary to go with fashion and trends. It is important to create your own statement and be the trendsetter.
