You can fit the best of London in one morning on the South Bank. From food markets to art galleries and landmarks to leafy parks, the South Bank has it all. Start your day with a quick breakfast in London Bridge’s Borough Market, home to the city’s best artisanal food producers. Then, head to nearby South Bank where a two-mile stretch takes you past myriad sites including Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe and the London Eye. Keep walking westward and eventually, you hit Battersea Park, one of the city’s many parks offering respite from the busy streets. It’s the perfect place to cycle, stroll or just people watch.
