He’s almost here! ACE Family star Catherine McBroom (née Paiz) shared a sweet video of her daughter, Alaïa, having a special bonding moment with her unborn son while he kicked inside her belly. The 29-year-old wrote over the precious clip, “He’s kicking her back.” She even included the pleading face emoji to hammer home the cuteness of the milestone as her due date approaches.
The proud mama of two revealed her due date on the family’s YouTube channel with husband Austin McBroom in late January. “So I found out I was pregnant in October, around the time my second daughter, Alaïa, turned 1,” she explained in the 21-minute video. Catherine and Austin, 27, also share 2-year-old daughter Elle.
“I got pregnant towards the end of September, which means today I am 17 weeks and 5 days [pregnant]. So I am almost halfway done,” she gushed. “Almost 20 weeks. You guys know you’re pregnant for about 40 to 42 weeks. So that would make my son’s due date June 25th.”
The mommy influencer also added she has a hunch about the new arrival’s astrological sign. “There’s something about Cancers,” she mused. “My brother is a Cancer. I don’t know, I just feel like he’s a Cancer. I just feel it. It’s like a feeling that I have.”
The happy couple announced their third pregnancy on January 2. “I wanted to keep you to myself for as long as I could and now after all these months of privately enjoying some time with our family, I am filled with so much joy to share you with the world,” Catherine captioned the sweet image of the entire ACE Family on the beach on Instagram. “You were the missing puzzle piece, I can’t wait to meet you son.”
The reveal shocked fans and followers because she already had a huge baby bump at the time — but she revealed how she hid her growing tummy shortly after the pregnancy news. “It was so hard to hide my bump on this day,” she wrote on a behind the scenes snapshot from her hubby’s “Giddy Up” music video on her Instagram Stories. “I was sucking in on every shot. Not to mention I was about to throw up and felt nauseous the whole time.”
