Stella McCartney and Adidas have teamed up again on a brand new line of sportswear aimed at an ‘action girl’ younger audience.
Designed by Stella McCartney, StellaSport pieces feature bold branding and bright colors and prints. The gym and streetwear is mixed with plenty of technical performance items including cool new sneakers.
“The adidas StellaSport girl is young, current and vibrant, looking to make a statement and stand out — we wanted to bring that to life within the collection and fuse performance with style to create performance pop,” explained McCartney.
The debut collection features color-blocked tanks, bras and tights in Adidas climalite fabric as well as signature onesie and ‘trainkini’ pieces, and socks, caps and backpacks. The footwear options feature breathable mesh uppers and built-in sock liners.
Set to launch online on January 15, the pieces will complement the existing Adidas by Stella McCartney range which is now in its tenth year.
