Aditus, the world’s first luxury access platform for crypto-affluents has announced a partnership with ART STAGE, the flagship art fair of Southeast Asia for its Singapore 8th edition, which will take place from January 26-28, 2018.
Held at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Level 1, it is apt that this year’s theme of ‘interactions’ is focused on the Thai art scene. This year will see a new partnership that will likely encourage the engagement of a new breed of non-traditional art investors.

Through this collaboration, crypto-affluents can purchase artworks such as Natee Utarit’s Theatre of the Absurd using Aditus tokens and other cryptocurrencies. Payments are executed at a special POS terminal at the Aditus booth located at the fair. Aditus was created on a revolutionary decentralised network and the team bring years of experience working with luxury brands across multiple product categories. As such its role as a service provider during the Fair is a natural progression towards bridging purveyors of Southeast Asian artworks with crypto-affluents.
“We will assist exhibitors through the process of receiving crypto-currencies directly,” remarked Julian Peh, co-founder and CEO of Aditus. “Exhibitors can also choose to take payment in traditional currencies – such as US or Singapore Dollar – even as the Aditus payment gateway allows buyers to pay in crypto-currencies. With a platform that allows a new breed crypto-affluents to render payment, we believe that the scene will continue to thrive in the future.”
This is aligned with ART STAGE ’s vision in developing the regional art scenes to generate a more unified Southeast Asian market and consequently leading to heightened market activity as international interest grows. In a long-standing recognition of Southeast Asia’s dynamic art scene, this year’s exhibition also showcases regional artworks by contemporary artists, such as Singapore’s own Donna Ong and Ruben Pang.
“We are happy to undertake this partnership with Aditus as a value-added amenity to our clients and a partner to the fair.” – Lorenzo Rudolf, Founder and President of ART STAGE Singapore & Jakarta.
“Cryptocurrencies are currently the fastest growing new asset class, giving rise to a growing new community of high-net-worth individuals who are cultivating an interest in the works of talented artists in the region. Our partnership during this year’s ART STAGE is just the beginning and we looking forward to interact organically with this entirely new customer segment with the aid of Aditus,” added Rudolf.
