PERSONAL INSIGHT
Food has always been an integral part of my life and liking, which I have always tried to encapsulate through my work in the form of quality flavours and consistency, blended with the look and feel of the capital in its totality. I graduated from Hindu College, Delhi University and after pursuing my MBA from the Fore School of Management, I started working at my inherited business at Batra Banquets. With a vision to change the way people perceived cafes in India, in the year 2011 I opened my first outlet at Cross Point Mall, Gurgaon, the very first Café Delhi Heights which was born out of my passion for the love of the city and the food alike. With a strong belief in quality food and consistency, my vision has been to serve comfort food to my guests with new twists and fusion as per their convenience.
FOOD HIGHLIGHT
Delhi has witnessed the rule of many emperors from varied cultures and regions of the world, thus the food at Cafe Delhi Heights is an adaptation of all kind of traits of the history of India from the Rajputs to the Afghans, and Mughals to the British culture. Over these years, there is one thing that I have learned from different cultures, that they all speak the same language of food. Therefore, the food at Nueva (another brainchild of mine) highlights a similar Peruvian history like India “of the pot of melting cultures and a flavourful culinary Atlas”. In the form of food, I try to serve high-quality product and experience, prepared in a sparkling and clean environment, served in a warm and friendly manner.
CAFE DELHI HEIGHTS- SADII DILLI SPIRIT
Born out of love for the city and the food alike, Café Delhi Heights is a place that celebrates the ‘Sadii Dilli’ spirit. As an all-day casual neighbourhood cafe, it is an ideal people hang out place. Peppy for children and cosy for the elders, it is a first of its kind ‘three generational café’. The ambience is vibrant, quirky yet comfortable, warm and loving. A place just like the city offers big-hearted dishes of varied cuisines. The menu is designed keeping in mind the culture and history of India. A true cosmopolitan spirit of Delhi, bonded well with flavours of our history, savours the tongue with light-hearted moments and conversations. Here, the interior witnesses a beautiful amalgamation of various designs and seating arrangements, from low-style seating to community tables. NUEVA- NEW AGE SPACE
Nueva is a Peruvian and Modern World cuisine restaurant. Nestled in Sangam Courtyard, it is an all-day dining and neighbourhood bar. Inspired by Peruvian, American, Japanese, Chinese and European cuisines, the food at Nueva promises to fire up your senses, garnish the imagination, and serve your curiosity. Nueva entices each and every epicurean in the city with its profusion of contributions and refined aura and ambience. The journey of flavours teases the senses and takes one to places never discovered before. Every bite is a journey which takes you through the pages of history and natural wonders of South America and Modern World Cuisine. With a classy decor and aesthetically pleasing ambience, Nueva is neatly divided into a plush lounge bar on the ground floor and a semi-formal space and a private dining area on the first.

The restaurant industry is huge, and owning one of them can be good- if you have the right business model and concept. There are several details one must consider before opening the door of a restaurant and a good business plan is vital to success. It is best, to begin with, a carefully planned and a researched concept which one includes the plan, investment etc. Positioning is the strategic step of defining the restaurant’s concept and target audience. We believe that investing in the brand as well as the brand language is the most important. Knowing what exactly makes your restaurant what it is, not only boosts the reputation and sales but plays a pivotal catalyst for long term success too. Next is ‘Pricing’. Customers are looking for value for money, and they are savvier about the choices. We want diners to not only enjoy dining but also at prices which are value for money”. FUTURE FILE
We are a brand of innovation. With 75% of repeated patronage, new is now culture and a habit of our brand. Cafe Delhi Heights is now a family of 16 outlets expanding to Pune and Mumbai as well. A super healthy and delicious vegan menu adorns the pages of the menu with vegan collection signatures of plant-based, no milk, no cheese and no animal product food. Also, we will be unveiling our summer menu at Cafe Delhi Heights made from locally sourced nutritious summer ingredients. Nueva, the Peruvian and Modern Cuisine themed restaurant is all set to launch an enthralling Kohli Couple special vegan menu. More on the new front at Nueva will be a festival time with a Peruvian Carnival in the month of March at the first of its kind Peruvian themed restaurant.
