Live music, cigars, and Scottish food. The financial district boasts many exciting places to dine. Boisdale is lucky to have 3 floors in Canary Wharf and even has an outdoor terrace.
My friends wanted a low fuss quiet meal with somewhere new to try. My friend “V” suggested Boisdale there’s also other floors such as the oyster bar and grill, restaurant, whisky bar, cigar terrace, Cuban library and shop.
Cigars cemented to walls and the place had an Art Deco feel throughout the whole venue. It was an exceptionally busy night with many people dinning.
I wanted a simple meal and opted for Boisdale lobster club with thin cut chips. It consisted of a grilled sandwich with lobster flesh, eggs, and lettuce, tomatoes clubbed together. I must say the lobster meat was a lot tastier and fresher then what I had over at burger and lobster. The lettuce was nice and crispy, and vegetables were fresh. The thin cut chips were lovely and golden with a slight crunch. It really filled me up.
The other two had steak, fish and chips.
Boisdale is a great place for atmosphere and I can imagine how busy and lively it gets over the summer months.
