Amy Schumer Gushes Over Husband Chris Fischer Since Becoming Parents: ‘Grateful for This Guy’

Too sweet! Amy Schumer‘s marriage to Chris Fischer has only gotten stronger since becoming parents to baby Gene in May. The comedian gushed over their strong bond in an Instagram post on October 27. The sweet tribute detailed how loving and supportive the chef is, and Amy hopes everyone can find an equally special partner.

“Before we had our little babe it was just us,” the 38-year-old captioned a silly selfie on Instagram. “I love chris [sic] so much. I hope whoever you are with is so kind to you and also drives you crazy but you love them so much and you want to hang out with them more than anyone.”

Luckily, the married couple is in it for the long haul, despite one hilarious difference. “That’s what we got and I’m grateful for this guy everyday [sic] even though he loves taking different routes every time we go somewhere and I like going the way I know. It’s good,” she concluded the sappy post.

Motherhood has given the Trainwreck star a whole new outlook on life and she frequently posts about the struggles and new emotions she’s been experiencing along the way.

On October 6, she divulged her very relatable experience of when she decided to go back to work. “[Five] months today and like all moms, I love him so much it hurts,” she confessed about her newborn on Instagram. “I’m feeling strong and good and like I’m still a human being with interests and ambitions and goals I’m excited to reach.”

Part of those “goals” include professional milestones, but the Snatched actress admitted that it was difficult. “It’s felt good to be back at work. I was so worried about it and was afraid to go back after he was [three] months old. A couple [of] days I’ve cried from missing him,” she continued. “But it’s mostly good to be back and the breaks energize me to be a better mom and appreciate our time even more. I have it a lot easier than many people but I wanted to share my experience,” she closed out her caption and invited other moms to dish their own stories.

It’s great to see that Amy has a supportive partner to figure things out along the way.
