Keeping it casual! Amy Schumer and her family seemed to have a laid-back Christmas this year. The 38-year-old took to Instagram to share a photo on Wednesday, December 25, with her son, Gene, and her husband, Chris Fischer.
“Christmas with my family,” the comedian captioned the selfie. The three seemingly went on a stroll and coordinated their outfits with gray accessories. How cute!
We’re sure this holiday season is extra memorable for Amy considering it’s the first Christmas she spent with her baby boy. The I Feel Pretty star welcomed her son in May. Since then, she regularly shows him off on social media, and we can’t say we blame her. Gene is one cute baby!
In addition, the blonde beauty also can’t help but gush about the 7-month-old anytime she gets. “I didn’t know I could love someone that much no offense to my husband, who’s here,” she divulged to Entertainment Weekly in November. “But yeah, I think we’re both shocked by the level of love that’s possible.”
Amy also said being a mom changed her “in a million ways,” and as a result, she’s nicer to her own mother now the she knows what parenting is like firsthand. “Oh god, it’s the best,” she added. “I’m so lucky.”
Amy not only loves motherhood, but she’s doing a good job, according to her friend Bridget Everett. “She’s doing great. She’s so happy,” the 47-year-old told Us Weekly in July. “She’s so in love. I’ve never seen her like this. She’s just full of joy. And it’s such a great thing to see. She’s always happy, but this is another level.”
She continued, “I thought the happiest she would ever be was on the couch with me drinking chardonnay. But apparently there’s another level after that.” Seriously speaking, though, Bridget also said that Amy is “a nurturing, loving person and it just really pulls all that into focus and it’s a beautiful thing to see.” We love to see it!
