On the evening of the Watches & Wonders exhibition’s opening, IWC hosted a gala dinner for around 250 guests to mark the launch of its new Portofino Midsize collection. Among the guests present were celebrity photographer Peter Lindberg, actresses Zhou Xun and Cate Blanchett, and supermodel Karolina Kurkova. Earlier in the year the four, along with Ewan McGregor, Christoph Waltz, Emily Blunt, and Adriana Lima, had collaborated on a photoshoot to help launch the collection. The series of stills are now making their way around the world as the “Timeless Portofino” exhibition, which is due to reach Dubai on 15 October.
