Since 1979, Svend Andersen, master watchmaker, has been amassing a global following for his special timepieces. Collectors continually expect something new and unusual from him, and this year he doesn’t disappoint. He unveils a new milestone in luxury watchmaking: the first mechanical split-second chronograph worldtimer. It’s difficult to combine these complications, but Andersen achieves it via an ingenious multi-parts dial with the first rotating sapphire glass ring displaying the 24 time zones. As always at Andersen Genève, any specific personalization (such as changing the names of the cities) can be realized. The watch is crafted in 18K white gold with transparent caseback.
Approximately $88,000
