Not here for it! Former Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman slammed Peter Weber‘s “degrading” pillow fight date during week 3 of The Bachelor. The Bachelor Nation alum — and the rest of us at home — watched along as the contestants dressed in lingerie and competed to see who was “champion in the bedroom.” Overall, Andi was not impressed.
“I love the Bachelor franchise and all it’s given me but that ‘sexy pillow fight’ was straight up degrading,” the 32-year-old wrote on her Instagram Story along with a short clip of her shaking her head. “Less drama, more romance, please.”
The group date, which was hosted by Bachelor in Paradise star Demi Burnett, was definitely over the top. Andi took her disdain to Twitter. “A pillow fight in lingerie? Our TV’s just took 10 giant steps back for feminism, wow,” she snapped about the scene.

Some fans disagreed and thought the contestants should be able to “do whatever they want” without “criticism.” Others pointed out that Andi’s season featured a date where the men stripped and danced for the leading lady, which seemed hypocritical.
However, many people agreed with her observation. “These kinds of dates drive me nuts!” one fan responded. “They could’ve done the pillow fight without wearing what they wore. Sports bras and yoga pants would’ve been fine,” another user noted. “Completely agree. I would’ve thought better of Demi and the producers. They should all be embarrassed. And I’m sure it was very awkward for the girls.” Other Bachelor Nation alum including Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tia Booth “liked” Andi’s scathing tweet about the most recent episode.
The pillow fight group date did end up spiraling into a bit of drama surrounding the winner of the day, wasn’t there for the right reasons.
. It all started when contestant told Peter that she felt like the former Miss TexasAlayah vehemently denied that she was putting on an act for the cameras. “Your story is not flawless because your story is an opinion and an opinion is not facts,” she said about Sydney during a private interview. “I’m not going to put out my light just because someone else is lying.”
“That freaks me out so much that I could possibly develop feelings with someone who is not being real with me,” the pilot emotionally said about the accusations. He then did some snooping around during the pool party and a few other contestants supported Sydney’s claims. The final red flag came from Victoria Paul, who knew Alayah in the pageant world as the former Miss Louisiana.
“It’s difficult for me to be in this position, but I know she asked me to not tell producers that we knew each other … Looking back, she did ask me to lie and that’s not who I am,” the blonde beauty revealed. “Coming into this, she was really looking forward to all the opportunities to come from this even if you weren’t her husband,” Victoria P. added. Alayah was eliminated during the following rose ceremony.
While the group dates may be questionable, the drama is definitely captivating!
