When you’re a celeb, you gotta make room for family time wherever and whenever you can. Jennifer Lopez was spotted hanging out with her daughter, Emme, on the set of her new movie Marry Me in Red Hook, Brooklyn on October 11. Needless to say, the singer was totally an excellent example of a doting mama with a busy schedule.
In a series of several paparazzi shots, the 50-year-old and her 11-year-old daughter were snuggled up together enjoying some downtime on set. The Latina pop star was also shooting scenes with Owen Wilson for the film when she wasn’t chillin’ with her little lady.
Clearly, family is a big source of happiness for Jen right now — since she and her longtime boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, recently made the big commitment to their blended crew by getting engaged.
The 44-year-old proposed back in March, but the couple only recently got together with their closest confidants to celebrate the engagement on September 28. The retired shortstop posted several sweet snaps from the party, obviously excited to embark on the next step in their fam’s journey together.
“So great celebrating with family and close friends last night. 
,” he captioned the pic of himself with his arm around his beautiful fiancée from the night of the party.
At the time of their engagement, Jen and Alex had been dating for two years and happily share 4 children from past relationships. Jen had twins Emme and Maximillian, 11, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Alex shares daughter Natasha, 15, and Ella, 11, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
