Who rules the world? Girls, and Lauren Conrad seems to agree! The 33-year-old shares two sons with husband William Tell, but she would to love have a daughter, too.
“She jokes that she’s perfectly fine with her house full of men, and being the queen of her castle is great,” a source exclusively told Life & Style magazine, on newsstands now. “But she’d still love to have a girl to even out the playing field.”
Lauren welcomed her second son, Charlie, in October 2019 — two years after her first son, Liam, was born. Shortly after welcoming Liam, The Hills alum thought she only wanted two kids. “I was looking at him the other day, and I was like, ‘I understand now why people keep having babies!’ We’ll probably have two,” she told People at the time. “I think it’s best not to be outnumbered.” However, she had a change of heart now that she has a baby girl in mind. After all, she’s lovin’ motherhood. “She doesn’t shy away from diaper duty or getting up for late-night feedings herself,” the insider added.
What makes parenting even better is having a partner who’s just as hands-on. The couple have a great bond and it’s only gotten better with time. “They have to juggle more and really plan out their alone time these days, but it’s all worth it,” the insider said. “Ever since Charlie was born, they’ve felt stronger as a couple and as a family.”
So when are they going to try for baby No. 3? “In a year or two,” according to the source. Luckily, when it comes to her sons adjusting to another sibling, Lauren is not worried thanks to how well Liam has handled having a baby brother around. “He’s having so much fun being a big brother,” the insider divulged. “He positively lights up whenever Charlie is around.” How sweet!
