Banana Cake with Buttercream Icing is probably the best thing I've discovered on the internet since Salted Caramel Brownies and Suri's Burn Book. Banana cake is one of my favourites. Along with carrot, apple, gooseberry, lemon, and chocolate. In fact I just really like cake. However Banana Cake was the very first cake I made that came out tasting delicious...I was 19 at the time. I always assumed it was just a fluke that it came out tasting so good, so I decided to try it again.
The banana cake itself is really easy to make, and little did I know, but the buttercream icing is even easier!
