With Pharrell at the center, Billionaire Boys Club and adidas extend their collaborative partnership with a new design falling under P’s Human Race line. This week, we’ve come across early imagery of a forthcoming BBC x adidas NMD Hu, one that is decked out with the streetwear brand’s astro helmet logo.
BBC is certainly no stranger to working on the NMD, as past models have incorporated nautical stripes and plaid patterning, for example. This particular pair sets itself apart, however, not only by the signature logo at the forefoot, but also thanks to a ribbed upper. The helmet motif is an iconic insignia for BBC, having graced T-shirts, hoodies, and countless other products over the years. That being said, it is likely to cause a stir among sneakerheads, making the pair even more sought after.
The silver upper of the shoe — as well as the contrasting black branding — is complemented by a white collar and heel, in addition to a white Boost-equipped midsole. The cage is then colored a light grey to complete the color scheme. The helmet logo and adidas’ Trefoil emblem serve as additional branding hits on the heels, as the sneaker comes with flecked laces.
This early look at the new BBC x adidas NMD Hu comes courtesy of insider @leaked.sneaks. But although photos have arrived, neither brand has shared release information for the pair.
