Pitt cue co is often talked about through the food world. Foodies talk about how their fingers still smell of BBQ pork after a session. The American style BBQ restaurant is located in Carnaby Street, and I had to queue for a very long time to step in. The nice lady at the door was serving us with small bites for waiting for long and beer was served in a can.
There’s a no reservation policy for the 30 seats at this place, so you can imagine the wait for parties to finish. Seated at the bar, I ordered the hickory-smoked and slow-cooked pulled pork, bone marrow mash, and slaw.
The slow cooked pulled pork was seasoned just right, without being too rich smothered in BBQ sauce, the meat was tender and juicy, the mash was infused with rich flavours a little rich for me but I still loved it. The slaw, was ok, wished it was creamier.
I was offered the Eton mess for desserts and it was such a beautiful sight, a mix of sorbet, marshmallows, strawberries, mint and caramel sauce went down a treat.
