I’ve been meaning to go here for a while, never tried Belgium food. When my friend comes over from Belgium I ask her if it taste authentic. There’s this deal going on, a express menu for those who beat the clock, from 5-6:30pm whatever time you order your food you will pay that price for the food. We initially wanted to go to the Covent garden branch but the kitchen broken down, so we had to hurry along to the holborn branch.
My friends picked the pork sausage and mash while I chose spit roast chicken and frites. O my when my dishes came out I was in for a shock I was given a whole chicken, topped with mushrooms and a creamy mushroom sauce. Then the frites came out, it was so huge I had to give some to my friends and there was plenty left over. The chicken was a little bit dry especially when it came to the breast, the mushrooms was nice and sauce was very subtle.
My friends sausage and mash was tasty but portion was much smaller then mine. Equally as tasty.
Overall the food was ok and the bill was under £10 per person.
