Bone Daddies Kensington Highstreet
If you’re a regular on my site you know Bonedaddies has been highly rated by myself. The High Street Kensington branch is housed upstairs to one of my favourite organic stores in London Whole Foods. After wandering through all the amazing products on offer on the shop floor. Head on upstairs to the first floor for food. There are a lot of choices to be made and Bone Daddies has it’s on the little section on the floor. It’s great for getting a table instantly, as space is bigger, and seats more people than their other branches.
Tables are chairs are basic wooden tabletop and stools. Each table a pot of extra garlic folded bibs to keep you clean from slurping soups, chopsticks and garlic press.
Exclusive food on the menu Bone Daddies
Bone Daddies High Street Kensington offers a lot more options on the menu, gyozas and steamed baos exclusive to them.
The food
Fried chicken steam bao’s, are filled a thick piece of deep-fried chicken coated up with special seasoning with some sour elements for that extra punch. Kimchee, pickled carrots, lettuce leaf and kimchee mayo. Fried chicken is excellent juices flows out as soon as you take a bite.
Gyozas
Gyoza’s are handmade – filled with minced chicken and prawn. The exterior of the skin is thicker than what I’m used to. They were good but not amazing something to skip.
Ramen
The main thing to order is their 20-hour pork bone broth ramens. You can’t go wrong with the ramen, excellent noodles and a flavourful dense broth. They are very generous of giving a whole Clarence egg instead of half. Yolk golden yellow and slightly runny, this Tokyo ramen came with slices of chashu pork belly, spring onions, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots and mushrooms.
