While we’re patiently waiting for Kanye West to finally release DONDA next month, the date for the upcoming “YEEZY Day” has been revealed on the YEEZY Supply website, and it is set for August 2.
This year has seen plenty of releases from the rapper’s longstanding adidas collaboration, including the polarizing Foam Runner silhouette, the summer-ready YEEZY Slide in multiple colorways, the futuristic 450 (which instantly became a fan-favorite), as well as more versions of the signature 350 V2, and if this year’s event is anything like the previous YEEZY Day, lucky fans will be able to snag multiple sold-out silhouettes.
The last YEEZY Day took place in August 2019, where a handful of styles were released every 30 minutes across both YEEZY Supply and the adidas website. Information as to what to expect is yet to surface, but according to the website countdown, the event will kick off on August 2 in the US.
Of course, when it comes to Kanye, we can never be certain of anything (especially not release dates), but we’re hoping for a second chance to cop some of the most popular shoes this year. Stay tuned as more information surfaces, and head over to YEEZY Supply to see the countdown.
