Funny dad alert! Brie Bella‘s husband, Daniel Bryan, hilariously interrupted his wife’s Instagram Stories ad on Friday, August 28, as the Total Bellas star showed off “on-the-go” products that have “saved” her and twin sister Nikki Bella “since becoming moms … because you never have time to do your hair.”
“Do you know what saves dads? It’s tonight’s Smackdown and that means: Thunderdome!” the 39-year-old — whose real name is Bryan Danielson — playfully yelled into the camera as his wife, 36, spoke to fans. “He’s crazy,” the former wrestling star responded after her husband stepped away from the camera. “So get your hair looking good for Smackdown tonight.”
The couple welcomed their second child, son Buddy Dessert, on August 1 — just one day after Nikki gave birth to her first child, son Matteo Artemovich, with fiancé Artem Chigvintsev.
“Nikki and Brie gave birth on almost the same day, and they couldn’t be happier about it,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style in the days following the births. “There was no sibling rivalry between them when it came to sharing their special day.” Considering the brunette beauties are “already close,” it’s no surprise that “carrying their babies together and then giving birth so close has only strengthened their bond.”
Initially, only one person was less than pleased with having two little boys join the family: Brie and Daniel’s 3-year-old daughter, Birdie.
“Brie’s daughter was hoping for a baby sister, or at least a girl cousin playmate, so she was a little upset with the all-boys news. Once she saw her little brother, that all changed, though,” a second source revealed, adding the toddler now “loves” her baby bro.
Now, the twins are all about planning future celebrations for their sons to enjoy together. “Of course, [Brie and Nikki] are already talking about shared birthday parties for their adorable baby boys,” the insider added.
Brie and her sister revealed their simultaneous pregnancies on Instagram in late January. The ladies happily showed off their adorable baby bumps in the months that followed. Nikki relied on Brie for “support and pregnancy advice” as they shared their journey to motherhood, an insider told Life & Style in March.
