In the central Jing’an district of Shanghai, Brooks Brothers hosted a special “blue” carpet event and fashion show to commemorate the illustrious American label’s 200th anniversary. And this was certainly an evening to remember.
As guests finished taking their seats for the hotly anticipated showcase, the curtains parted and a 50-piece symphony orchestra struck up as 50 local and international models clad in the brand’s striking fall/winter 2018 looks hit the catwalk. A selection from the women’s collection designed by Creative Director Zac Posen was also presented, much to the delight of assembled invitees.
This special night was attended by hundreds of guests and was capped off by an exclusive VIP dinner at the city’s newest luxury hotel, The Sukhothai Shanghai. Chairman and CEO of Brooks Brothers Claudio Del Vecchio hosted the unforgettable evening with Asian superstar Louis Koo (who is also the brand’s ambassador for the region).
The event at HKRI Taikoo Hui (one of the largest malls in the city) follows a global series of celebrations held by Brooks Brothers in New York and Florence earlier this year.
