I’m one of those people who always seem to stumble across hidden cafes etc. No surprise candy cafe caught my eyes a few years ago when I walked passed in Chinatown when it just newly open. My first encounter with the owner started out with me oooing and aahing at the photos of the food, desserts and teas on display. His a friendly guy and I chat to him each time I visit. This place was empty when I went during a lunch break from work.
At the time there’s was this offer for Taiwanese tea with soya pudding as a drink. It was absolutely delicious the Taiwanese tea was different to hk style tea, the pudding was also taiwanese style.
Since then I put word of mouth to my friends to go this place and I tried many of the desserts and teas. The toast is really nice I’ve forgotten what’s it called I’m Afraid!
