Casa di Langa, a newly opened hotel in the Piedmont region of Italy, has recently announced the launch of what is thought to be the world’s first-ever hotel truffle concierge as well as a program of truffle-themed culinary experiences.
Debuting in time for Italy’s fall white truffle season, the Casa di Langa truffle concierge invites guests to utilize the hotel’s connections with some of the country’s most renowned suppliers – and of course, its own truffle estate – for exclusive truffle procurement. The 39-room hotel also has a specialist chiller dedicated solely to storing guests’ truffles with the utmost care and respect in order to preserve their quality before they are shipped back to guests’ homes.
Alongside the all-new truffle concierge service, Casa di Langa is also launching a culinary experience to celebrate the return of Piedmont’s truffle season. The Truffle Hunting and Dining package invites guests to head to the hotel’s 103-acre estate, where a professional will guide them through the ancient art of truffle hunting.
The itinerary then takes guests to the hotel’s Sorì Cocktail Bar for a local aperitivo tasting, followed by a game of bocce – a traditional Italian bowling game. Rounding off the immersive culinary experience is a three-course menu created by chef Manual Bouchard, who leads Fàula Ristorante.

Rooted in Pietmondese tradition, Bouchard’s cuisine showcases seasonal ingredients sourced from within the hotel’s own gardens as well as from local producers, in line with the hotel’s overall commitment to sustainability.
“Running a restaurant on its own truffle estate is something chefs dream of. Sourcing our own truffles here on the hotel property while immersing guests in the history and tradition enhances our culinary experience all around,” says Bouchard. “I encourage guests to dine al fresco next to our organic garden overlooking the vineyards and orchards that inspire our menu.”
For a full taste of the northern Italian region, guests can also try the accompanying wine pairing menu featuring a selection of prestigious local labels. Although Piedmont is perhaps best known for its Barolos, it is also home to the prestigious Alta Langa appellation which focuses solely on classic sparkling wines.
Casa di Langa’s latest seasonal culinary itinerary joins the hotel’s expansive menu of immersive itineraries, from cooking classes and vineyard visits to Vespa tours and art trails, all of which aim to showcase the diversity and traditions of the local landscape and communities.
