Just months after their spring 2020 split, Cassie Randolph is allegedly accusing her Bachelor ex-boyfriend Colton Underwood of stalking her in documents filed requesting a restraining order against him.
In the September 11 docs obtained by Life & Style, the 25-year-old influencer claims her former flame has been harassing her with unsettling texts, showing up randomly at her apartment and parents’ home where they hunkered down together during his bout with coronavirus, and even placed a tracking device on her car to monitor her location.
The papers allege 28-year-old Underwood even admitted to being the person behind anonymous texts sent to Randolph after previously claiming he was being bothered by the same mysterious stalker she was. Some of these texts allegedly included accusations that Randolph was hanging out with another former boyfriend.
The reason cited for filing the restraining order was “domestic violence prevention,” but the request has yet to be approved by a judge.
Randolph and Underwood previously seemed to be on good terms when they revealed their decision to call it quits after their romance on season 23. “Colton and I have broken up, but have decided to remain a part of each other’s lives. With all that we have gone through, we have a special bond that will always be there,” she wrote in a statement on May 29. “I love Colton very much and have an enormous amount of respect for him. We have both learned and grown so much these past couple years, and will always have each other’s back. Always.”
Tension between them seems to have reached an all-time high as of late. The exes both unfollowed each other on Instagram in August, three months after they parted ways.
Looking ahead, Underwood will be releasing a new chapter of his memoir, The First Time, in January 2021, which will feature new details on their split.
The ABC alum previously revealed Randolph “saw it” already and “was OK with it and we made the changes. I say we,” he pointed out. “I know it’s my book but like, there was more than just the breakup that was going to go into the book, the extra chapter,” Underwood told Reality Steve about what readers can expect.
“The chapter is part our breakup and part me having COVID-19,” he added. “We go into the details we’re comfortable sharing in that chapter and we both went over it together … Honestly, I think her being a part of it made it even better.”
