Introducing a new range of jewellery and accessories inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite flower, the Maison presents the PREMIÈRE watch and the EXTRAIT DE CAMÉLIA CHARMS ring. First worn by the eponymous brand’s founder as a brooch in 1913, which she borrowed from men, who would wear it on the lapel of their jackets to enlighten women’s allure, the camellia swiftly transformed into an emblematic Chanel style that inspired many collections across the House.
Limited to a mere 1,000 pieces worldwide, the PREMIÈRE EXTRAIT DE CAMÉLIA watch comes in two unique variations. Both enclosed in a signature octagonal casing inspired by the N°5’s bottle lid, each Première is embellished with a charm in the shape of a camellia. Incorporating elements of Yellow Gold, Titanium, and Rubber, each timepiece comes complete with an Ardillon buckle, black rubber strap with a velvet touch and 18K yellow gold ardillon.
Showcasing high precision quartz movement, both watches resist up to 30M of water, and measure an estimated 19.7 X 15.2 X 7.8MM. Differentiated only by a clear or diamond-studded face, the first PREMIÈRE EXTRAIT DE CAMÉLIA watch, worth SGD $9,500, features ~0.04 Carats worth of brilliant-cut diamonds, whilst its SGD $19,050 counterpart amasses up to ~0.12 Carats on the case, and ~0.37 Carats on the dial.
Rounding up the release with an EXTRAIT DE CAMÉLIA charms ring, characterised by ~0.12 Carats worth of 3 round-cut diamonds and 18K Yellow gold, the all-new PREMIÈRE collection a symbol of architectural perfection and timelessness that resonates with the feminine allure, and can transition seamlessly from day to night.
