Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare

Japanese cuisine and French technique meet in perfect harmony at Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare, helmed by chef César Ramirez. Originally opened in Brooklyn in 2009, the restaurant relocated to its current Hell’s Kitchen location inside Brooklyn Fare market. This unexpected location (read: walking through a supermarket to get to your three-Michelin-starred restaurant reservation) only adds to the allure of this wonderful restaurant. Reservations are made up to six weeks in advance and if you can snag one, you will be dining in an intimate space, as the restaurant can seat just 44 guests at a time. Everyone in the restaurant is served at the same time, which makes it feel like you’re at an exclusive dinner party. Throughout the night, you will enjoy around 13 delicious dishes — chef Ramirez’s cooking style is allowing the natural flavors of each ingredient to shine through. The dishes are very seafood and meat-centric and the restaurant doesn’t accommodate dietary restrictions, like vegetarian or vegan. Pair your meal with a bottle from its notable wine list.
