You can always count on kids to be honest! Christina Anstead took to her Instagram Story on Thursday, September 12, to show off her daughter Taylor’s impressive reading skills. In the process, though, the 8-year-old made a cheeky joke about her mom and stepdad, Ant Anstead’s tired appearance since their son Hudson arrived.
Christina recorded her daughter reading a book. On one of the pages, there was an illustration of two zombie parents. “Does that look like me? the Christina on the Coast star asked her mini-me. “You and Ant,” replied the little one as she laughed. LOL.
Christina and Ant welcomed Hudson on September 6 via c-section. The blonde beauty took to Instagram to share details on her new bundle of joy, as well as her first family photo with him. “Ant and I are so excited to welcome Hudson London Anstead into the world,” she captioned the post. “Our hearts are SO full of love and joy! Our healthy baby boy was born this morning — 9/6/19 — 7 lbs 7 oz 19.5 inches long.”
We couldn’t be happier for the mom of three and her successful delivery. Prior to giving birth, she admitted she was nervous because she made the decision to have a c-section based on her experience giving birth to her 3-year-old son Brayden.
“I chose to do this because I had an emergency c-section with Brayden and the whole experience and recovery was really hard on me physically and emotionally,” she revealed on a baby bump photo posted on August 30. “I really don’t feel comfortable trying to go down that route again. Bray was 8lbs 13oz. After pushing for hours and hours, he was just stuck, and his heart rate was dropping.”
Fortunately, that wasn’t the case with Hudson. Three days after giving birth, Christina was seen heading home from the hospital. Based on her smile, it seems like she’s doing great!
