Christina Milian Is Spotted Out With Boyfriend Matt Pokora and Their Son Amid Quarantine

Family on the move. Singer Christina Milian was spotted out with boyfriend Matt Pokora and their son, Isaiah, in Studio City, California on Saturday, May 16. The 38-year-old rocked a Molo jogging set embellished with colorful letters as she held her son on a walk amid social distancing.

The brunette beauty and the French singer, 34, started dating in August 2017. They met at a restaurant in France when the manager of the establishment suggested they chat since both Christina and Matt are musicians. “So we switched numbers, found out we had the same birthday that night, and it was like the stars aligned,” she told E! News in August 2019.

“He told me, ‘We’re going to have a child together.’ … I’ve never had anybody say that to me,” she said. She explained after she revealed she already had a daughter, he said, “Well, you don’t have a son.”

Christina revealed she was immediately smitten with Matt. She also liked how interested he was in meeting her daughter, Violet, whom she shares with rapper The-Dream.

It turns out Matt was right! In July 2019, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together. “New release 2020! What a blessing! Let’s do this babe @mattpokora!” Christina captioned an Instagram photo of the baby’s sonogram. A month later, they revealed they were expecting a baby boy.

Considering this was the “Dip It Low” singer’s first time being a mom to a boy, she had no idea what to expect. “I was like, ‘Oh man, boys can be wild!’ But you know what? I’ve decided not to stereotype boys,” she exclusively told Life & Style in September 2019. “I said, ‘OK, I’ve seen some really calm boys, too. So, I’m not going to just assume [that I’ll] have just a crazy kid crashing trains and automobiles into everything!”

She admitted she felt nervous about having a newborn baby, but she seems to be adjusting just fine. The couple welcomed their bundle of joy in January. “And so we begin. Isaiah 1/20/20. Simply perfect. The world is yours, son. Love, Mom and Dad,” she captioned the first Instagram photo of him.
