You’ll find Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese on a remarkably quiet street in Rome, and the charming hotel is housed is a former 19th century Roman palazzo that lies within walking distance of some of the city’s best-known cultural landmarks and parks, including the Trevi Fountain, Villa Medici and Spanish Steps.
Franco Bongiovanni, bar manager of the hotel, has created a cocktail using a staple of the Italian lifestyle — coffee. The typical Italian day is defined by coffee rituals: a cappuccino with breakfast, a caffè macchiato as an afternoon pick-me-up, and espresso after dinner. If you’re after something with a little more kick, Caffè Borghese is made with Borghetti coffee liqueur, vodka, and espresso.
