Apologies for not doing many beauty posts lately, I've just had so many food and bar ones to do. I'm also very happy to announce that I reached 100 followers yesterday!! This coupled with the blog's first birthday last week, and the fact I also hit 45,000 hits this week, means a giveaway will be up in the next week or so! Now, as many of you know, while I was in America I stocked up on make-up, in particular Covergirl. I've been looking for a new loose powder for a while, so I decided to try this one. It was only about $6 from Walgreens, so an absolute bargain!
This powder is the perfect colour for my skin, is beautifully light and sets foundation well. It also feels really soft on my skin! The only downside is that it's quite heavily perfumed, it's got quite baby powder smell? I don't really like the smell as it's a bit strange, it doesn't smell completely of baby powder...it smells like there's something else in there...like menthol maybe?! Anyway, I would definitely recommend this powder for day wear and during the summer, but I'll stick to my MAC studio fix powder for heavier coverage - winter and going out at night etc.
