Temple Street Market 廟街
Temple Street Market 廟街 was accessible to us via the free shuttle bus the Dorsett hotel we were staying. Visiting during the day the streets were empty and saw the location of lively night market that comes alive from 6 pm. Temple Street Market 廟街 is full of stalls that sell household goods.
Tin hau
Tin hau is the goddess of the sea since Hong Kong is surrounded by sea, people pray for protection. There’s even a Tin Hau festival yearly.
dai pai dong (street food)
The night stalls have dai pai dong (street food) and traders selling all sorts of goods. We saw a public square which led us to Tin Hau Temple. Although there were signs to not take too many photos I managed to grab some of the camera and they turned out beautifully. We brought some incense and burnt and said a little prayer before leaving the temple.
We spent most of day 5 outlet shopping. Going to various locations in Hong Kong the best one is Citygate near the big Buddha on Lantau Island, with over 80 international brands in a plaza.

I think you need a good few hours in Horizon Plaza a whole flat of 27 floors dedicated to designer and outlet shops. I brought a Rebecca Minkoff rucksack from here. Get uber from South Horizons that cost £3-6.

Kam Fat Food market
We stumbled along Kam Fat Food market, where traders sell fresh produce like fish, fruits and meats. I enjoyed shooting people in the moment unposed shots.
