India is a Country of Festivals and celebrations of different cultures. It was first time that a Delhi Mall celebrated the Dev Deepawali, literally translating into “Diwali of Gods” or “Festival of Lights of the Gods” is a huge celebration in Benaras. On this day the gods are believed to descend to Earth to bathe in the Ganges on this day. The steps of all the river ghats of Benaras are decorated and covered in diyas in honour of Goddess Ganga.
This day celebrated on the day of Kartik Purnima, presents a mesmerizing sight with hundreds of diyas twinkling on the ghats and the rhythmic chants fill up the
environment. The city of Varanasi has been known by many names over the years and this quote by Mark Twain says it all: “Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together”.
Karmic events recently did the first of its kind installation in India at Luxurious Mall, Vegas Mall in Dwarka, This installation of Glory of Benaras was first of its kind in India and no one has ever dared to do this before. They re-created the divine Ghats of Benaras and brought the “Dev Deepavali which is celebrated for the entire month ” to the mall.
Temple structure, beautiful carvings and pillars, water bodies, twinkling lamps, and ornate bells all form a part of the beautiful installation.
Hundreds of twinkling lights made it a mesmerizing sight for all the patrons and Mall visitors were seen celebrating the festival of lights with the gods and goddesses.

Mr. Gunwant Singh, MD, Karmic Events Pvt Ltd. says- With the onset of festivals, we at Karmic Events India, known for pushing the envelope in event experiences and designs, recently created a larger than life experience of “Glory of Benaras”., The temple we made was about 68 ft in length – 40 ft in width, 40+ ft in height, is unprecedented in the mall industry. Intricately designed carvings and pillars, water bodies, twinkling lamps, and ornate bells all form a part of the beautiful installation which was made possible by a hardworking team of 140 extremely skilled artisans, worked dedicatedly for 40 days and handcrafted the entire structure. The creation of this beautiful and surreal installation was ideated to make sure that our patrons feel the same spirituality and positivity they would feel on the ghats of Benaras.
