Sometimes there’s no better addition to your outfit than a pair of black leather boots, but in summer, they’re not the most practical choice. The first DM x Suicoke collaboration changed that, offering up the perfect balance of a rugged, hard-wearing boot and the everyday seasonal practicality of a sandal. As we trailblaze through the midpoint of summer, the second collaborative sandal from the duo is arriving just in time to see us through to the end.
At first glance, the foundations of the popular MURA slip-on stand out, before quickly drawing attention to the unmistakable contrast yellow stitching and heel tab we’ve grown to love from Docs. This careful balance highlights a refined approach, taking the best of both brand’s unique DNA to create something fresh and original. On a technical level, this is achieved through the combination of Suicoke’s lightweight footbed, the easy-on and easy-off of the MURA slip-on, and Dr. Martens’ Lorson outsole and iconic leather. The collaboration comes in two alternate black finishes, “Smooth Leather” or “New Vibrance Croco Leather,” for a subtle or more overstated finish to your look.
You can expect both versions of the Dr. Martens x Suicoke DM MURA to land on August 23, just in time for any last-minute staycation packing.
