The Dubai Polo Gold Cup 2010 was Dubai’s first polo tournament and turned out to be a resounding success.
The event is now lauded as one of the premier international polo competitions of the year. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the tournament continues to grow in prestige, attracting the best players and horses from Argentina, England and the UAE, as well as polo’s associated fashion and celebrity elite. Mingling with the greats of the polo world while enjoying privileged views, could be savored by booking into the VIP Terrace Area or the Lawn Area. Earlier in the month was the Silver Cup, which is held annually in February – March. Ghantoot ADCB beat Habtoor Polo 7-5 to win this year’s competition.
