If you’re not following Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry on Instagram, you should be! The couple have come up with a great way to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas and they’re going to be doing it all on social media.
As you know, the royal couple only follow a few accounts a month so they can really highlight all the good these organizations do in the world. For the days leading up to the holiday, they’re going to continue that tradition — but with a little twist.
“We have selected twelve organizations caring for those in need — especially at this time of year,” they wrote on their official Instagram account on Sunday, December 1. “There are, thankfully, so many organizations around the world doing good on global and grassroots levels, many of which are not on Instagram. Check out the accounts we have chosen and please share those in your own communities that are making a difference.”
“We would love to hear about the ones that inspire you — so please tell us and add your country’s flag!” they added.
This Christmas, Harry and Meghan plan on spending the festive holiday at a different location other than Queen Elizabeth‘s Sandringham Estate. Instead of attending the queen’s annual Christmas celebration with their baby boy, Archie, they’ll be visiting with Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, instead.
“It’s been a tough year for Harry and Meghan, so they’re planning to have an intimate, drama-free Christmas — it’ll just be the two of them, Archie and Doria,” a source recently revealed to Closer Weekly. “They’re really excited to be celebrating Archie’s first Christmas as a family and want to make it extra special.”
Harry and Meghan are also looking forward to having a very relaxed Christmas with their family. “Christmas at Sandringham is extremely formal. Harry and Meghan would rather have a more relaxed day and don’t want Archie feeling overwhelmed,” the source said. “Although they’re planning to spoil him with lots of gifts.”
Sounds like a great Christmas to us!
