Talent runs in the family! Erin Andrews may be a natural in front of the camera, but so is her sister, Kendra Andrews, who is a professional dancer. In addition to knowing how to move, the 38-year-old is also an actress. Here’s everything you need to know about the Dancing With the Stars host’s sibling.
The Sisters Are Super Close
Kendra is not only younger than Erin, 41, by three years, but she’s also her only sibling, which means the two were most likely close growing up. In April, Kendra shared an adorable throwback photo with Erin when the two were kids. “Happy #nationalsiblingday to you @erinandrews!!” she captioned the pic of them at Disney World. “Love you so much Gareeee Also… let’s hear it for my haircut.”
When reposting the same snap, Erin revealed the duo’s silly nicknames for each other. “Happy #nationalsiblingday @kendraandrews. Beavis & Butthead, Ralphie & Randy, Audrey & Russ … You get it, I love you,” she wrote.
Kendra Has Starred in a Number of Films
You may be wondering why Kendra looks so familiar and it’s because chances are you’ve seen her in some of your favorite movies like Step Up 3D (2010) and Footloose (2011). In both films, she played a dancer.
Her Acting Goes Beyond Dancing Roles
Besides portraying dancers in her acting gigs, Kendra also plays characters totally different than her in real life. Most recently, she starred as Meghan on Killer Contractor — a thriller about a mother, daughter and a contractor who brings “a series of lethal mishaps,” according to IMDB.
Evidently, Kendra was excited about her role. On October 10, she took to Instagram to gush about it. “Hi Friends, our film, Killer Contractor, will be on @lifetimetv this Sunday, October 13th, at 8 p.m.!” she wrote at the time. “If you catch it, let me know your thoughts! I had a great time making this movie and I hope you enjoy the ride . #lifetime”
She Likes to Give Back
One of Kendra’s best qualities is she enjoys helping others. In October 2018, she revealed she was helping a young girl with movement therapy for two years. “Every week I visit her home and we do movement therapy,” she wrote at the time. “I help her lift and use her right leg and right arm while we listen to our favorite tunes. She helps me remember that there is little else in this life more important than our health and the love we give. Last night I saw her eyes light up as we sat in the audience of the Disney themed Dancing With the Stars.” Using her platform for good. You go, girl!
