Monaco superyacht builder Dynamiq has appointed Central Yacht as its brand ambassador for Asia.
Dynamiq produces the fast, efficient Gran Turismo Transatlantic (GTT) range of aluminium superyachts, first showcased at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show with the 39m Spring (ex- Jetsetter).
A 35m GTT 115 hybrid designed with Porsche was shown at Monaco in 2017 – before the yacht had sea trials – and at Cannes and Monaco last September, while the builder has sold the first GTT 135 and is now developing a new explorer range.
Dynamiq yachts are conceived and designed in Monaco, engineered in Holland with hydrodynamic specialists Van Oossanen, and built in Italy to semi-custom requirements on a platform of 30m, 35m, 41m or 50m. Dynamiq also offers prospective clients full-custom builds designed either by a designer of their choice or in-house.
Complying with Large Yacht Code – so increasing charter potential – RINA Comfort Class and RINA Green Star, the yachts are constructed with marine-grade aluminium in a customised yard in Massa, one of Europe’s yacht building capitals.
Captain Paul Brackley and Greg Dagge are the principals of Central Yacht, which has either sold, designed or managed multiple yachts over 50m in Asia including the technical support of one of the most sophisticated ever built – the 65m diesel-electric ABB Azipod Ambrosia.
Others include the 56m Lady Candy, 55.85m Genesis 2, 53.8m Nonni 2 and the 51.8m Jade 959 (interior work).
Dagge said: “Dynamiq has broken with the traditions of yacht engineering and come up with something not just new but really advantageous in terms of comfort, safety and performance – and wrapped it up inside truly gorgeous Italian styling.
“I am now delighted they have teamed up with Central Yacht, the most capable superyacht company in Asia, to deliver unparalleled sales and after-sales support in the region. We fit very well and can support the builder and its yacht owners due to our Asian presence, experience, technical and practical support.”
Headquartered in Hong Kong, Central Yacht has its own design and engineering team, so can work directly with Asia-based clients on design, to supervise builds, and deliver and maintain yachts while in the region.
The company has developed a refit facility in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, encompassing 110m of dry dock and wet berths for maintenance or modifications, now available to Dynamiq yachts based in the region or visiting.
