As iron sharpens iron, Palm Beach chefs will sharpen the culinary skills of local teens at this year’s fifth annual E.A.T.S. event. On January 25, local high school students will work with chefs to prepare an evening of culinary excellence at Hilton West Palm Beach.
Hosted by the Palm Beach chapter of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, E.A.T.S. 2019 will raise funds to provide scholarships to culinary and hospitality students. Guests will visit 12 delectable stations positioned across the hotel’s open-air garden. The chefs and students will create all of the bites using locally sourced ingredients.
“We have an unbelievable line-up of 12 area restaurants and farms participating this year,” FRLA Regional Director Jodi Cross said in a press release. “Using locally grown produce and homegrown goods, the students and chefs will prepare fabulous dishes for all attendees to enjoy.”
As guests mingle and munch throughout the garden, they will have an opportunity to bid on silent auction items like resort getaways, hotel stays, restaurant certificates, spa packages, and golf rounds. For more information on E.A.T.S. 2019, click here.
