Creative director Stefano Pilati’s latest campaign for Italian brand ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA COUTURE has landed and if offers a unique perspective on a cityscape as well as the clothes.
The label’s new campaign for the Spring/Summer 2015 collection was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and inspired by the cinematographic style of German director Wim Wenders.
Featuring a cast of male models on a rooftop, the images play with the dichotomies of architecture and space, which were a key part of the Spring/Summer 2015 show in Milan this summer.

The cityscape operates as a painted background for the new Ermenegildo Zegna Couture (the Italian label’s high fashion line) man, defined by the brand by his power and individual liberty (illustrated by the ability to mix high-end suits with leather sneakers).
The photos revisit the graphic elements of previous campaigns, but feature a new attitude and silhouettes, with a focus on pared-back modern colors, rich textures and stripes.
Last season’s advertising featured British actor Sam Riley.
