The chemistry was real! Fans are already shipping Bachelorette star Hannah Brown and her Dancing With the Stars partner, Alan Bersten, after the show’s premiere on September 16. The pair stole the spotlight with their Cha Cha performance set to Whitney Houston‘s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” and it didn’t take long for viewers to pick up on their showmance.
“#DancingWiththeStars has been on for [five] seconds and I ship [Hannah] and Alan!!!!” one person gushed on Twitter. “Any money Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten start a romance,” someone else predicted. “If Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten don’t fall in love by the end of DWTS I will cry,” a separate user wrote, while another echoed, “I’m going to be a little upset if [Hannah] and Alan aren’t a couple at the end of this show.”
Whether love is in the air for the partners or not, they’ve already set themselves up as the couple to beat. “Not only did you do awesome but you and Alan look pretty dang cute together,” another tweet applauded.
Many people predicted that the reality starlet would be paired with Alan before they officially made their debut. It turns out, he’s a perfect match for the Alabama beauty. “He’s really fun and can, like, sometimes make me laugh with his bad jokes but I think a lot. He’s hard on me when he needs to be hard on me, but then also I can be like hey, not right now,” Hannah explained in an interview during the DWTS season 28 premiere. “I think it’s just I want somebody to push me and he definitely pushes me, but we can also be friends and have fun and be silly and that’s what I need. I need an encourager, but also somebody that will make sure I’m ready for the competition.”
Time will tell if anything more than a strong partnership and on-screen chemistry happens between the two. Since splitting with her fiancé from The Bachelorette, Jed Wyatt, people are keeping their fingers crossed that she’ll find love … hopefully, on reality TV. However, the starlet admitted exclusively to Life & Style that dating is the farthest thing from her mind.
“I have not thought about that at all,” she confessed about the possibility of hitting it off romantically with her partner. “I’m truly just focused on continuing to love myself and see the places where I still need to work on that — and I think this is the way where I can do that.”
Keep slaying, girl!
