Stalking the fantastic Fashion Me Now blog, I found a few of Lucy’s favourite London hunts. Farm Girl Café came up as one of the places, and peeking at their website I also found out it was dog-friendly. A catch up with the girls were due and since one of them had a dog I mentioned to go to Farm Girl Café on a lovely Sunday (I also really wanted to meet the resident French Bulldog Bronte). A short walk from Notting Hill Gate station we passed cute pastel painted houses and big mansions hidden in a courtyard.
To my surprise I knew where I was, I been to Sister jane in the past and the café is next door to them. The café seem to be overcrowded but we waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. Here’s Leon the pom he was spoilt from the moment we arrived. Bowls of water can be found outside for dogs and the staff kept coming to him to give him treats.
The decor and atmosphere are adorable, very warm and welcoming. Since we were waiting for another friend we placed our orders anyways. Although we had a great time just catching up I did notice the service was incredibly slow. Half hours had gone and still no sign of our drinks.
Our friend finally turned up and she ordered her food when our food and drinks arrived I had to admire the plates bespoke designs by David and neutral colours that show off the food for Instagram-worthy photo. Here is my ice latte with lavender; the waitress didn’t quite understand what I wanted, which was to have the lavender latte with ice. Instead, it was ice latte and a side of lavender.
The ladies ordered food whilst I got myself my newest addiction an acai bowl. The acai bowl come with all natural and superfood goodies, only wished the actual acai was colder as it was quite warm.
The avocado toasts and buckwheat pancakes looked heavenly and filling. Farm girl café is brilliant to sit outside by the courtyard on a lazy Sunday for brunch.
