Interestingly, human misery starts from food and body. Unhealthy body influences the mind and the body. And the unhealthy body is a result of disproportionate food intake. We often eat unhealthier and not balanced diet which invites a maximum of diseases. We eat more and sleep more. To maintain a healthy body and soul, one needs healthy food and thoughts. One need to rigorously exercise regularly to preserve energy but at the same time, one also needs to burn extra calories. One has to walk and exercise regularly for good health. Health, body, and mind have connections. According to UNO one should and must reduce their sugar intake by half. Sugar and carbohydrates are one and only cause of an ill health. Sugar and sweet invite a silent killer, a disease, diabetes which slowly weakens the body through involving the heart, kidney, and other vital organs. The best way is to control food habits and regular exercise, walk to burn extra sugar. Also, one should practice yoga or pranayama to live long happily. In Gita, it is mentioned as, “Yoga is not for him who eats too much or too little- nor, O Arjuna, for him who sleeps too much or too little.” The Yoga Sastra prescribes that “Half the stomach for food and condiments, the third quarter for water, and fourth should be reserved for free motion of air.” Let yoga become the destroyer of the misery of life.
