Enabling guests to spend two days in the wilderness in addition to staying at the luxury lodge, the new mobile camp provides a unique safari experience with exceptional wildlife sightings.
In line with the lodge’s environmental philosophy and conservation initiative, the Feline Fields Trust, the camp moves between sites in the Mababe Marshes of the Khwai Community Concession without leaving any trace of being there. Sleeping under canvas doesn’t mean a compromise on the level of luxury either; as you embark on this adventure, the Feline Fields team—including a waiter, chef, cleaner and host—are on hand to cater to your every need, while your home for the night comes complete with a comfortable bed, private ensuite bathroom with copper basins and a shower, and a hearty cooked bush breakfast to start each day.
From this base in the wilderness you’ll set out on game drives and have the opportunity explore the Okavango Delta by mokoro or seek out herds of elephants in Chobe National Park. Then as the mobile camping expedition comes to a close, a helicopter arrives to transport you back to The Lodge at Feline Fields for a stay in one of the sumptuous suites, a swim in the pool and an introduction to the desert it lies within.
