Ted Weise, the former CEO of FedEx, is selling his roughly 50-acre equestrian ranch outside of Palm Beach, Florida, for $22.9 million.
In Jupiter, Florida, the ranch is inside the gated community of Ranch Colony and includes a nearly 12,000-square-foot home, a guesthouse and a barn with eight paddocks and additional living space. The main home has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and three half-baths.
The property includes a 4-acre lake stocked with bass, an enclosed saltwater pool, horse-riding trails and a riding arena.
The property abuts the Dye Preserve golf club. The three-story main home has a 1,000-bottle wine cellar, a top-floor observation deck and a walk-in vault that doubles as a safe room.
All three structures – the main house, guest house, and barn – were built to exceed Miami/Dade hurricane specifications, with impact glass and reinforced concrete roofs, walls, and floors, and multiple generators.
