Uh-oh! Former Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay admitted that she and her former BFF from the show Raven Gates are not friends anymore — nor does she think they ever will be again.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, a fan called in and asked the 34-year-old what happened between her and the Arkansas babe, 28. “I can’t say. I promised I wouldn’t say. But it was enough for me to not want to be friends with her anymore … And I never will be,” Rachel surprisingly revealed to Andy Cohen. The ladies were both contestants on Nick Viall‘s season and seemed to have an unbreakable bond. Raven even called the Dallas native her “day one, my soul friend, my person” after it was announced that she would be the Bachelorette in 2017.
The former friends definitely raised some eyebrows when Raven did not attend Rachel’s bachelorette party or wedding to her man from the show, Bryan Abasolo. Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that the lawyer unfollowed the brunette beauty on Instagram, despite Raven still actively following her as of October.
The two still share many mutual friends from the franchise — like Alexis Waters and Astrid Loch — but haven’t been spotted together in quite some time. They posed in bikinis together during an influencer trip with Revolve in summer 2018 and attended a Bachelor event shortly after but have been absent from each other’s timelines ever since.
It doesn’t seem like these two will be rekindling their friendship anytime soon even though they are both going through some major life changes. Raven and her longtime beau from Bachelor in Paradise, Adam Gottschalk got engaged on May 31.
As for Rachel, she got married to Bryan during a destination wedding on August 24 on the heels of moving to Miami from Dallas. Now that they’ve walked down the aisle, kids may not be too far in the distance. Rachel noted exclusively to Life & Style that they’re letting life unfold the way it’s supposed to.
“I don’t have a timeline,” exclusively admitted while promoting her and Bryan’s wedding registry on The Knot Registry in June. “I have learned to get rid of that seeing how I am off my original life timeline — way off of it — so no more timelines for me … I [don’t] want to say, I want to start immediately but it’ll be sooner than later. I would like to start sooner than later, let’s just put it like that.”
It seems like both Rachel and Raven have big things ahead but reuniting may not be one of them.
