Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is Officially Open

Four Seasons Hotel is no stranger to Philadelphia — the brand has operated in the city for decades in Logan Square. A few years ago, that location closed and moved just down the street within the brand-new build, the Comcast Center, Philadelphia’s now-tallest building that houses a shiny new Four Seasons on the uppermost floors. Comcast’s offices are below.

On August 12, Four Seasons Philadelphia at Comcast Center officially opened its doors. The 180-room and 39-suite hotel delivers a sleek, urban aesthetic that wouldn’t look out of place in Manhattan.

Think floor-to-ceiling windows with unparalleled views in every direction; chic, contemporary furnishings and larger-than-life floral arrangements at every turn by celebrity florist, Jeff Leatham. Leatham also works with other Four Seasons properties, including Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris.

The food and beverage concepts here offer both guests and locals a chance to indulge on some of the world’s finest cuisine. Four Seasons brought famed French chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten on board to create a restaurant on the 59th floor, Jean-Georges Philadelphia.

The chef will also lead JG SkyHigh, a cocktail bar just left of the lobby housed within a glass-enclosed atrium. The cocktail bar has some of the best views in the entire city. Vernick Fish, an American oyster bar from local chef, Greg Vernick, is located on the ground floor of the hotel and brings a distinct Philadelphia flavor for visiting guests.

Every room here has a view, from the Cityscape Suites to the Skyline Corner Suites to the Presidential Suite. Designed with a neutral color palette of creams, ivories and light browns paired with natural materials of wood, each room is a serene space to decompress from the buzz of the city. E

njoy plenty of closet space, grand marble bathrooms and luxurious bathroom amenities. Perhaps one of the coolest parts of the rooms are the newly designed mini bars that look less like your standard fridge and more like an art installation within the walls. Behind gold doors you will find high-end beverages and snacks plus directions and ingredients on how to make select cocktails. Every detail is thought out with a sophisticated client in mind.

On the 57th floor, you’ll also find the Spa at Four Seasons with a bevy of treatment options designed for the global traveler and city dweller. Enjoy relaxing treatments that include crystals: Crystal healing expert Rashia Bell wanted to create a sense of tranquility by embedding 700 pounds of crystal into the walls that spans the lobby to the treatment rooms to the locker rooms. The fitness center is beyond: Four Seasons global fitness advisor and celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak worked with the team to create a state-of-the-art gym. Post-workout, enjoy jaw-dropping views from the spa pool (available only to guests). The infinity pool seems to spill out over the city and has high ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows for prime views of the cityscape.
